Roof Coating Regular

Semi-liquid renovation coating

A maintenance coating reinforced with fibres for repairing, protecting and waterproofing flat and gently pitched bitumen roofs and gutters. Once dry, Roof Coating Regular forms a highly adhesive, slightly elastic coating that seals all pores and micro-cracks.

Step-by-step plan

  1. First remove all dust and grease from the substrate.
  2. Repair blisters, cracks and tears with ROOF REPAIR REGULAR or ROOF SEAL MASTIC SBS. If necessary, reinforce with ANTI-CRACK, a tear-resistant polyester fleece. Allow to dry sufficiently (about one week) before proceeding.
  3. Clean and impregnate the substrate with quick-drying ROOF PRIMER ROOFING bituminous bonding varnish to ensure optimum adhesion.
  4. Apply two cross coats of ROOF COATING REGULAR with a brush or roller. Use about 0.5 kg/m² per coat and protect each coat from rain, frost and mist for at least 4 hours.
  5. The initial brown colour becomes completely black.
  6. Apply the second coat only after the first coat has fully cured. This takes 24 to 36 hours. Slate granules can be sprinkled into the last wet coat for additional UV protection.
