Flexible fiber reinforced maintenance coating

A waterproof coating that is extra-reinforced with microfibres. Suitable for seamlessly repairing and renovating new roofs, pitched roofs, old and damaged roofs and gutters. The coating also has excellent expansion and contraction capacity without cracking for a lasting renovation.

Step-by-step plan

  1. First remove all dust and grease from the substrate. Take the type of roof covering into account.
  2. Repair blisters, cracks and tears with ROOF REPAIR REGULAR or the elastic ROOF SEAL MASTIC SBS sealant. If necessary, reinforce with ANTI-CRACK, a tear-resistant polyester tape. Allow to dry sufficiently (about one week) before proceeding.
  3. Clean and impregnate the substrate with quick-drying ROOF PRIMER ROOFING bonding varnish to ensure optimum adhesion.
  4. Apply two cross coats of ROOF RENEW with a brush. Use about 0.5 kg/m² per coat with an interval of 24 hours. Slate granules can be sprinkled into the last wet coat for additional UV protection.
