Semi-self-adhesive roofing membrane underlay
A high-quality semi-self-adhesive underlay for gently pitched roofs with a minimum pitch of 2°. Due to its semi-self-adhesive nature, there is no need to apply the underlay with a roofing torch. Just stick it on. When heat welding the top layer, the heat is sufficient to heat weld the underlay as well. The underlay has a peel-off film, making installation quick and easy. This underlay is made from high-quality elastomers and bitumen and has a polyester-glass combination insert. The pressure-distributing stripe pattern makes blistering impossible. The top of the underlay is finished with a burn-off film. When heat welding the top layer, the film spreads out and acts as an adhesive.

- Due to its semi-adhesive nature, applying the underlayer with the burner is unnecessary. You can simply stick this underlayer. By burning the top layer, the heat will be sufficient to burn the underlayer with it in one go.
- First place the ROOF BASE SEMI STICK on the roof surface. Always start at the lowest point of the roof, i.e. the side of the rainwater drain. Lay the underlay on the roof and unroll it to align. Then half roll the ROOFBASE SEMI STICK again.
- Then carefully cut the foil without damaging the roll. Then remove the peel-off film from the ROOF BASE SEMI STICK while firmly pressing the roof roll onto the substrate. Press from the inside out so that no air is trapped when unrolling the roll. Press the seams additionally with a seam roller.
- Repeat the same working method for the other half of the roof roll.
- Make sure there is an 8 cm overlap lengthwise when installing the next roof roll. Cut the roll to size, roll back halfway, remove the foil from the seams, remove the foil from the ROOF BASE SEMI STICK and stick the roof roll in the same way.
- Provide a 15 cm overlap in width, the end seam connection between the different roofing sheets. Make sure the end seams are also staggered in relation to the adjacent roofing sheets.
- Then finish the roof upstands with strips of ROOF BASE STICK. For the eaves, it is better to work with a fully self-adhesive roof roll. First apply ROOFFIX ACTIVATOR SPRAY to the roof upstands to ensure optimal adhesion. Ensure that the strips extend to minus 10 cm on the roof surface. Finish the roof upstands all round.
- Use ROOF TOP HEAT & GLUE MINERAL or ROOF TOP HEAT & GLUE to further finish your roof.
