Iso-Fill
Material for fastening IKO enertherm roof insulation
Iso-Fill is a special insulation foam for filling, sealing and insulating gaps between insulation boards and building structures. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
- Fills gaps between insulation boards and building structures
- Insulates, fills and seals
- Both indoors and outdoors
Step-by-step plan
- Remove all dust, dirt and grease from the substrate.
- It is advisable to lightly moisten highly absorbent substrates first.
- Shake the can vigorously for 20 seconds with the nozzle facing down.
- Remove the cap and put on the gloves. Screw the tube onto the nozzle.
- Hold the can with the nozzle facing down and fill the opening, working from the bottom upwards. Use a zigzag motion for openings wider than 3 cm. Do not fill the entire opening because the foam increases in volume.
- If the volumes to be filled are too large, work layer by layer, spraying with water between each layer.
- When taking a break of longer than 5 minutes, the tube must be cleaned, and the can must be shaken vigorously before using it again.
- Any excess foam can be removed with a knife after curing.
