A universal bituminous coating for waterproofing buried materials that are in contact with the substrate on the outside. Foundation Protect Bitumen Sealer quickly forms a moisture-resistant and strong protective layer. You can apply the coating in summer and winter.

Step-by-step plan

  1. Make sure the surface to be treated is healthy and free of loose particles.
  2. First make the substrate dust- and grease-free.
  3. Stir Foundation Protect Bitumen Sealer well before use.
  4. Apply min. 2 crossed coats of Foundation Protect Bitumen Sealer undiluted by brush or roller at a rate of 0.3 L/m²/coat. For brickwork, it is recommended to apply a 3rd coat. Make sure each coat is protected from rain for at least 4 h.
  5. Apply another layer only after the previous layer has fully cured. This takes about 24 h.
