- How do I finish my eaves?
- Finish the roof edge with a universal roof edge profile using the lay-on method.
- Place the profile on top of the EPDM roof covering. Always start at the corner and preferably use the pre-shaped 90° corner pieces. Fit the supplied connection pieces which ensure that the different roof edge profiles/parts cannot touch each other. This allows the material to expand or shrink with temperature fluctuations. Pre-drill the corner pieces in the indicated slot (top), at approx. 4 cm from the side and approx. 2 cm from the corner (total of 4 holes) or immediately use the Aquaplan SELF-Drilling Screws 35 mm.
- Fill the sealant gutter at the bottom of the corner piece or roof edge profile with ROOFGLUE EPDM. Also place the adhesive on each end/joint.
- Screw on the corner piece. Also pre-drill the roof edge profiles in the specified slot at the top every 40 cm, starting and ending 4 cm from the end or use Aquaplan SELF-Drilling Screws immediately. Fill the sealant gutter as described. Slide the eaves trim over the corner piece connection piece up to the protruding marking point in the middle of the connection piece. A small gap between the trim is necessary for the expansion and working of the eaves profile.
- Screw it on and fill the seams with the ROOFGLUE EPDM.
