Step-by-step plan
- First remove all dust and grease from the substrate. Thoroughly remove any mould with a stiff brush and water.
- Fix and saturate highly absorbent substrates such as new plaster and plasterboard with one coat of water-based wall paint.
- Apply one undiluted coat of Wall Protect Condensation Stop with a roller or brush at a rate of approx. 0.16 l/m² per coat.
- After about 4 hours, apply a second undiluted coat for a better insulating effect. Use a smooth, rough or special embossing roller to achieve the desired aesthetic effect. The surface can be wallpapered after 24 hours.
- In this case, choose the smoothest finish.
