The RAIN PROTECT MINERAL FINISH combines the authentic look of traditional limewash with the latest water-repellent technology. The product is ready to use – simply add water – and thanks to its built-in water-repellent properties, no additional hydrophobic treatment is required. Upon application, the limewash creates a durable protective layer that optimally shields your façade against rain, frost, and pollution, while still allowing the substrate to breathe.

Step-by-step plan

First make the substrate dry, dust- and grease-free. Carefully inspect the substrate and repair any damage where necessary.
Chisel out cracks and fill them with rapid-setting cement to create a stable base.
Moisten concrete, cement plaster and masonry until no more water is absorbed.
Sprinkle RAIN PROTECT MINERAL FINISH into clean water at a ratio of 4 kg product to 1 L water. Stir well until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is obtained. Use this mixture within 2 hours.
Apply the RAIN PROTECT MINERAL FINISH generously with a block brush. Ensure the surface is completely saturated and evenly covered.
