Self-adhesive sealing strip
A waterproof strip based on self-adhesive SBS rubber for sealing seams, cracks and roof details on roof coverings. The elastic tape has high adhesive strength, offers optimal adhesion to all substrates and is resistant to extreme weather conditions. The top of the strip is protected with UV-resistant aluminium foil.

Step-by-step plan
- Dry the surface and remove all dust, rust or other particles.
- First treat porous surfaces with ROOF PRIMER ROOFING, which dries quickly (in 3 hours).
- Cut or trim the AQUA TAPE to length, remove the protective film and apply where necessary. Press firmly so that AQUA TAPE assumes the shape of the substrate. Smooth any creases with a cloth. For long strips, remove the protective film in sections of approx. 40 cm.
- The ambient temperature at the time of installation should be above 12°C. Store AQUA-BAND in a temperate place before laying. Higher temperatures will ensure optimum adhesion.
